The following tools work only on WM2003SE, so if you use later OS and still want to repartition and/or perform extrom tasks your device you have to flash WM2003SE rom (no radio or extrom needed)

Expanding the Storage memory:

  • Download http://rapidshare.com/files/256400789/xda-developers_BA_EXTRom_and_DOC_Customizations.rar
  • Place the cab somewhere on your BA.
  • Install xda-developers_BA_EXTRom_and_DOC_Customizations.CAB by tapping on it in filemanger (from the directory where you put it earlier)
  • Then go to start -> Programs -> ExtROM tools -> then first run "unhide", then "Unlock". Do a soft reset.
  • Once your BA is restarted, now go to start -> Programs -> ExtROM tools -> Repart_DOC.exe and start it.
  • Set size of Extended ROM to 128 kb (which is already the default)
  • Press "Format now!" and wait until it is done (A few seconds). You will see a message that it is done. (You will get an error message about your storage, just press yes and wait a few seconds.)
  • Soft reset your BA

Now you have those extra MBs.

Reducing Storage Memory to Default Size:

  • Download http://rapidshare.com/files/256400789/xda-developers_BA_EXTRom_and_DOC_Customizations.rar
  • Place the cab somewhere on your BA.
  • Install xda-developers_BA_EXTRom_and_DOC_Customizations.CAB by tapping on it in filemanger (from the directory where you put it earlier)
  • Go to start -> Programs -> ExtROM tools -> Repart_DOC.exe and start it.
  • Set size of Extended ROM to 16384 kb (which is the factory default size)
  • Press "Format now!" and wait until it is done (A few seconds). You will see a message that it is done. (You will get an error message about your storage, just press yes and wait a few seconds.)
  • Soft reset your BA
  • Then go to start -> Programs -> ExtROM tools -> then first run "lock", then "hide". Do a soft reset.

Now you returned your device to default factory partition settings

Description of the contents in the cab:

  • lock - this shortcut sends command which locks the extrom and does not allow it to be resized
  • unlock - this shortcut sends command which unlocks the extrom and allow it to be resized
  • hide - this shortcut sends command which hides the extrom partition
  • unhide - this shortcut sends command which shows the extrom partition
  • Repart_DOC - this application is used to resize in both ways storage and extrom partitions (increase and decrease extrom partition size while giving or taking space from storage partition). Works only on unlocked and unhidden extrom.

by default extrom partition is locked and hidden
